The book is chock full of information about a wide range of cars and contains tons of beautiful color photos of excellent quality, taken from a variety of angles of the various automobiles. My nephew not only enjoys looking at the photographs, but also loves reading all the technical information provided about each model.

My eleven year old nephew is a car fanatic, and has a particular love for exotic cars, so when I found this on Amazon last year I thought it would be a perfect birthday gift for him. He absolutely loves it! The book is chock full of information about a wide range of cars and contains tons of beautiful color photos of excellent quality, taken from a variety of angles of the various automobiles. My nephew not only enjoys looking at the photographs, but also loves reading all the technical information provided about each model. I highly recommend this book for any car enthusiast be he/she 8 or 80!

I bought this for a birthday present for an 8 year old boy. He loves learning about cars, and has been thrilled with it. His mom has told me that as part of their evening ritual they usually sit with the kids and read. This has been his choice book every night since he's gotten it and is his favorite birthday present. He wants to bring it everywhere with him and show it to all his friends. Needless to say, he loves cars and anything with an engine, but this book has enabled him to learn more details and facts which has excited him as well. His parents are happy that he's excited about a book, and it helps him practice his reading.

overall the book is good. I bought it for my 8 year old and he likes it. There is good information and pictures of most car model. My recommendation is to make it a bit larger in size at least 8x11 or larger.

It definitely needs updates, as it talks about some cars to be coming out soon which have been in the market for some time (Nissan GT-R/Skyline). While some other significant ones such as Lamborghini Aventador and others are missing.

I would have five starred were it not for the layout choices; putting great photos on the crease. I'm a visual/design person who enjoys the whole photo uninterrupted by staples and glue. But if you're seeking good stories, history, anecdotes and all the stats this is for you. I also haven't seen a lot of these in print; they're limited production. If you want to see some new exotics and learn more about the famous ones buy you'll enjoy it. If you want a coffee table book...not going to happen.

I got this book for my son, who fancies himself an expensive car enthusiast (he's 9). When he opened it Christmas morning, he screamed and hugged us. I thought, as most things do, this book would lose it's novelty quickly but it hasn't. It has not left his side in 3 months, and he is always flipping through it finding some fact or another to tell us about it. Definitely an A+.
Disclaimer: I don't know much about cars, so I can't speak to it's quality outside the current obsession of a young child....but if you have a 9-year-old who watches Top Gear and tells you facts about every (yes, every) car that passes on the road, this book is for you.

I just can't get enough of read about exotic cars. John Lamm got it right by producing a compact sized book of about 8 inches by 6 inches. What's even better is his short, precise, exact articles on each car. Some books give too much info. Someone show tell all the auto magazines how to do it right.

MY OLDEST SON LOVES THIS BOOK. I LOVE THAT IT MADE HIM WANT TO READ.

This is a very nice book. It has a half dozen or so, beautiful pictures of each car. It also includes just enough details and facts about the car to keep it informative and interesting but not overwhelming. It will make a great addition to your coffee table.
