Didn't have all the pieces, would have just purchased new if I knew it would have been missing pieces.

Pros: The book has magnetic pages so the little shapes stick to it. My twins love it. The pictures inside have greyed out shapes in the story which you match the magnets to in order to complete the pictures. Fun colors and shapes.

Cons: The magnets are smaller than I expected so I can't leave it alone with the kids at this age. It is probably best for kids that are at least three or four, who do not chew on anything anymore. Also, their interest is short-lived because they cannot keep the shapes and taste the shapes due to the small size.

Books was missing magnets!! Disappointing!

We have 3 books in this format and my daughter has had them for about a year now. Every so often she still gets them out and has fun with them. It used to be a 'together' activity but now she enjoys them on their own. With this one I just wish there were enough shapes to complete all the pictures without having to go back and 'borrow' shapes from other pages. If you are new to these and want to buy one to start out with, we like the Magnetic Animals one better.

This line of books are genius. I have purchased many. Strong magnets as well; you close the book with magnetic on page. They do not move.

The magnets in this book are very weak (the shapes barely stick and slide off easily). The magnets are thin - just plain flimsy. There are not enough magnets to do each page so you have to go back and find the magnets you already used to finish the book. I am returning this book.

My toddler loves putting the shapes together to form objects and it's great for car rides since the pieces are all magnetic.
