This is one of our favorite books - I have kids aged 4 and 6. Cute illustrations and a "the grass is always greener / be content with what you've got" message.

my kids like this funny/silly story about a hungry badger who goes looking for a fancy meal. it is a short story but the kids want to hear it again and again. nice quick length for bedtime, esp when you need to read more than one story! I got this book because we have another book by this author that we LOVE. it's called The Rat and the Tiger. so I thought we'd probably enjoy this one too.

Great Story! Very engaging. I purchased for my 3 year old and he loves it. Keiko Kasza writes great children's books that can be enjoyed by both preschoolers and school age children. If you like this one, I highly recommend you read, "My Lucky Day" (all time favorite).
