I decided to purchase this book after checking it out of the library. It includes many songs and little bits of information about the holiday. What I like best about the book is the selection of songs and the piano arrangements. They are easy to play and sound good. The arrangers used more than just the I IV and V chords as I would have if I just played by ear and that is what makes them sound more musically interesting. I plan to use to accompany singing with my family and at school.
Great book for kids and adults alike. Only complaint is that I received a Library book. Great condition however.
Children who play piano can use the simple score to learn at home and to play for the class. Leading up to the holiday, children can "read" the sweet pictures to recall the songs and to make requests for specific songs during circle time or music time.
