Isobel Tallach found that, while many secular books got down to the level of very young children, few Christian books did so. That is the maim reason why she began to write what her 3-year-old son came to call: 'The books Mummy's writing for David-and for Irene when she's a bit bigger. Here, for the very young is the thrill of hearing the gospel told in words they can understand. The stories are beautifully illustrated but there are no pictures of Jesus.

I am very anxious that you should know something about the History of Jesus Christ. This may not be among the greatest of Charles Dickens's literary accomplishments, but it is certainly one of his most heartfelt.

What does the Baptism of Jesus mean for us? Kids need to know and this . Every kids church ministry deserves the very best resources for teaching God’s Word, even when they don’t have the financial resources.

What does the Baptism of Jesus mean for us? Kids need to know and this children’s church lesson from Matthew 3:1-17 can help. Teach about the Baptism of Jesus with this free Bible Story. For younger audiences, this might be a simple toy or Bible vers. lder students can use something more abstract, like a wrapped Three Musketeers bar for the Trinity in the story. What did Jesus Ask?" is a great book for use in a Christian Bible study group or a Sunday School Class. Each short, very readable, chapter is based on a question Jesus posed to his followers and addressed by a theologian, author, Bible student, or Christian leader. Every chapter elicits rich discussion on the question as it was presented in the context of Jesus's time, as well as how the question is applicable in our lives today.

My parents read this book to me when I was young, and now I have purchased a copy for my nephew!

I've been looking for a simple presentation of the Gospel for unchurched children. I love this! The book is not so big and bulky as to be intimidating for a young reader, but is not a "baby book." From my experience, I would not say it is something a child aged 5-6 would be able to read by him/herself. More like a reader who is 8 or more. I plan to order several of these to have handy for children who visit.
