This wonderful book will take me some time to finish reading and even then I'll read it again and use it for reference.

It is the goal of the author to make readers think about how we approach our Bible to understand the plans and purposes of our God. He discusses the four approaches possible: a literal one, figurative one, a critical one, and a dispensational one.

This book supports the latter one and considers it throughout in both the Old and New Testaments. A very good on going Bible Study and worthwhile to all Christians.

Clears up most misunderstandings that are the hallmark of denominational churches. Also, created some questions that I'm afraid I didn't get answered, for example; Why is the Body of Christ referenced in 1 COR. when that letter was written early during the time of The Acts. Isn't the Body the essence of the Mystery?

A very readable book showing several ways people approach the Bible and the results of the approach. The author is non-judmental in his presentation, leaving it up to the reader to determine what model s/he will use in understanding God's Word. He presents what he sees to be the advantage and disadvantage of each approach. Very useful, very informative.

Clear and concise would be the way I describe this book. It helped me understand the Bible in a much fuller way.
