Karen Kingsbury's A Thousand Tomorrows was an amazing and very interesting book. Plot: A Thousand Tomorrows is a Christian fiction novel by Karen Kingsbury about a professional bull-rider named Cody Gunner. He started riding bulls when he was in only seventh grade. There are five characters but Cody's dad walked out in the beginning so it doesn't say much about him. Cody has a brother named Carl Joseph, he has Down Syndrome. He was amazing from the beginning, because his anger toward his father fueled his rides.

A Thousand Tomorrows. A Thousand Tomorrows by Karen Kingsbury. I love Karen's books. She has a special gift from God to put the gospel and the victorious life we can have in Jesus. Karen Kingsbury is a talented author, able to put deep, complicated feelings into heart-felt, descriptive words. This was the first book I read of Kingsbury, and it was hard to put down.

DEDICATED T. onald, my Prince Charming: The dance is a beautiful one; I only wish the music would play forever. Since that conversation, Ross Coleman and his family, along with dozens of rodeo competitors, cowboys, and professional bull riders including the all-time great Tuff Hedeman, helped make the world of rodeo real to me, and for that I am grateful. You lent accuracy to this story; any errors in detail are mine.

This is by far my favorite book by Kingsbury. I rarely get emotional over books but her writing really puts you in the characters story and makes you feel like you know them personally. This book is a wonderful book about love, loss, forgiveness, and living life to the fullest. It's tasteful and the content is appropriate for any age, preteen to seniors. I've read 100s of Christian fiction books over the years and this one remains hands down my favorite out of any fiction or Christian fiction book I've read.

It is always a delight to read a book written by Karen Kingsbury. Her ability to capture you into the lives of the characters is exhilarating. The best part about her books is the positive Christian message. I do not like reading a book with vulgar language, violence and graphic sexual content. Who says a book cannot be interesting without all those vile things? Thank you, Karen Kingsbury, for always bringing us exciting, positive and realistic fictional stories to encourage, enlighten and entertain.

Meeting Cody as a boy and reading about his life is exciting. Learning how hate and anger can drive a person is interesting. As with all her books, Karen Kingsbury brings you a story so real, you feel like you are there in that person's life. you even feel hurt and sad when they do. I cried and I laughed and had a mixed bag of emotions over this book. Anyone will also love this book for the things it teaches about the challenges it teaches about sickness and special needs people. I really enjoyed all 3 of the books about Cody and his family.

This book is full of lessons and encouragement. It shows the reality that our actions wound and hurt but it also
shows the power of love and the healing of forgiveness.
A powerful admonishment to parents of the tender hearts of our children and how aware we need
to be of that. It describes powerful anger and the control it can have.
On the other side of that it shows where determination to live each day to it's fullest will take you.

This novel is predictable for the most part, but still a warm and emotionally satisfying read, if you are looking for a tragic love story. The characters are well written and it is easy to Identify with Cody's bitterness and anger driving him to reckless behavior, as well as Ali's desperate desire to experience life before she must die. I really appreciated the way that Ms. Kingsbury used the story as a backdrop for Cystic Fibrosis. While the life expectancy of those who suffer with it has increased greatly, it is still far too short. Following Ali's determined fight to do more than simply survive with CF drew me in and made me smile and shed a few tears as well. While this particular book does not speak overtly of Christianity, nevertheless, the characters experience forgiveness, love and redemption. As it is a book aimed at a non Christian audience, I feel it does a good job of painting a picture of 1 Corinthians 13 without actually quoting chapters and verses. Far Country

Nice to have a book I can sit and read without having violence, sexual content, everyone jumping into bed
with everyone else. Just a nice book, written by a great author. I've read many of Karen Kingsbury's books
and always look for her books when I order from Amazon. A book my grandkids can read without a worry
they will be reading something they shouldn't.
Great Book, Great Seller, Fast Service.
Thank You.

I loved these books. The story of love and loss, the story of pure love of a person with Downs Syndrome. The characters were honest and true to life.
For Karen Kingsbury these books were different, but not in a bad way. The message that God loves you and has a plan for your life is there, it's just done in a different style in these stories.
I couldn't put the book down, finished it in one day! Very good and so happy I bought this book.
I wish she would write more books about them!
Once again you brought me to tears I can't count the books I have read by Kingsbury never disappoint always look forward to opening another book and getting lost in its covers
