William (Billy) Henderson (August 9, 1939 – February 2, 2007) was an American singer, best known for being an original member and founder of The Spinners, a soul vocal group. Billy Henderson was born on August 9, 1939, in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, USA. He grew up in Royal Oak Township, Michigan, he and four friends at Ferndale High School in 1954 formed a group originally called The Domingos and later renamed The Spinners

Billy Henderson (born June 2, 1928) is a former American football player and coach. Henderson has coached for Furman University, the University of South Carolina, and four high schools. Henderson is a native of Georgia, graduated from high school in Macon, and is an alumnus of the University of Georgia (UGA). At UGA, Henderson was on the football and baseball teams. By the end of the 1995 season, losing in the quarterfinals, Henderson did not realize that it would be his last high school game at the age of sixty-five retiring before the 1996 season due to illness. In September of 1996, the football stadium at Clarke Central was named Billy Henderson Stadium in his honor.
