Halo: Helljumper Paperback – January 26, 2011. by Peter David (Author), Eric Nguyen (Illustrator). And another reason why I like this so much was on how much detail went in to creating the drawing u see in this comic which u really don't see that much. well at least to me. Lastly I would recommend this product to someone who loves the halo series as a comic book form or just is the type of person who loves the hole series in general weather it is the gaming side or the graphic novel side.

As written by Peter David, with art by Eric Nguyen, Helljumper – which serves as a prequel to the Halo 3:ODST game – doesn’t have much more on its mind than giving readers a fun time. Want to read five issues consisting almost entirely of Colonial While not exactly the brainiest or most d piece of Halo canon I’ve had the pleasure of reading thus far, Halo: Helljumper more than makes up for any lack of big ideas with two big plusses: lots of bullets and lots of humor.

Halo: Helljumper is a five issue comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It chronicles the stories of a squad from the 105th ODST Division of UNSC Marine Shock Troopers. The story is centered around Taylor "Dutch" Miles and Kojo "Romeo" Agu before the events of Halo 3: ODST, with Romeo serving as the narrator of the story.

ISBN 10: 0785140239 ISBN 13: 9780785140238. Publisher: Marvel, 2010.

Centers around a pair of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST). Not enhanced Spartans, btw. Plot: best of buddies are part of a deployment to investigate a Convenant raid. Find themselves cut off; fight their way through and show more of the self-sacrificial buddy-hero stuff. But that's not to say I didn't enjoy reading it. It's.

Helljumpers. The name strikes fear in the hearts of even the most ruthless Covenant warriors. But when the Helljumpers respond to a call from a remote science colony, they soon discover that the colony is deserted, seemingly abandoned by every man, woman and child who once lived there. The lone body on the planet, a communications officer, appears to have died of fright. The discovery of a large Covenant military presence raises more questions than it answers. And when two Helljumpers get cut off from the rest of their squad, they'll have to battle through impossible odds to make it home. COLLECTING: Halo: Helljumper #1-5

The reason why I chose this rating for this book was how the author did a good job at dragging the person in to the story. One reason why I like the story/comic is that it made me feel a really good amount of emotion which is very where for me to get when I read a book/comic like this. So if u are above 17 I recommend this if your not but u still really want to read ask your parents for permission to read this.

It was fun, but mainly because it features characters from ODST. Honestly not a lot of plot structure, but a lot of good character interaction and some funny dialog. I would have liked to have seen how they came to serve with the others from ODST, but oh well. It seemed rushed, and didn't have a huge impact on the Halo 'verse, but it was entertaining enough.

"It was predictable in a way, mainly because the way they lined it up, it was telling you something was going to happen. Experience with past novels also helped with the predictability in that the way the events lined up, it pretty much foretold of upcoming action." - according to my son.

It's a great book. Though it wont be easy to understand with no other knowledge but still good on it's own.

It wasn’t too great of a novel, but hey, it gives you a bit of back story on Dutch and Romeo.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. We both thought that this was an actualy book, but its a comic book. The shipping was rather slow even for being standard shipping it was really slow. The book was packaged very well. No shipping information was provided but when the package came the tracking number was on thw front. My boyfriend does like the comic just wish it was a book.

Very good read
Just wanted to say it is a comic book, I bought it thinking it was a part of the Halo book series. Just wanted to make that clear, it was an enjoyable read and maybe I am just an amateur when it comes to graphic novel but at one point I was unsure of what exactly was going on.
