The Holy Terror was the fourteenth story in Big Finish's monthly range. It was written by Robert Shearman and featured Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Robert Jezek as Frobisher, a character who first appeared in the 1984 Doctor Who Magazine comic story The Shape Shifter. It was the second of Big Finish's "Side Steps", exploring other elements of the Doctor Who universe. This story was also Robert Shearman's first contribution to audio-based Doctor Who.

The Divine Bliss Mission in India is just another money hustle - till its leader begins using his disciples to penetrate the higher U.S. echelons. The Blissful Master, alias whiz-kid Dom, has a nice line in drug-induced bliss for the converted and a sideline in painful death for unbelievers that have cost CURE four Agents. Remo and Chiun hit India, Dom flees, but curvaceous follower Joleen is prepared to embrace a new master - the outraged Chiun. Leaving behind them a trail of blissful dead, the three head for home - and more trouble.

This story puts Remo and Chiun up against an assassin with skills very much the same as Chiun has taught Remo. You are kept in suspense as Remo is stalked by a killer who has the skill determination to assassinate our hero. This is the best of the 19 books I have so far.

on the upper third of Destroyer novels
What a delight to have these back after reading them first in the early 70's.

Good

Like all of the Destroyer books, there is a thinly veiled social commentary that runs through the book. This one is no different. Reminds me of the Moonies and the frenzy over the Rev. Moon.

I HAD BEEN TRYING TO FILL IN MISSING BOOKS IN MY HUSBANDS COLLECTION OF BOOKS FOR YEARS. WAS GLAD TO BE ABLE TO FILL IN ONE OF THE ONES MISSING.

A good, light page turner. Follows the recipe, and entertaining.

Just as described!
A very solid Destroyer novel. Chiun is great and there is much flavor in the story. I only wish the latter books in the series had been this good.
