The Terminal Man is a book that Stephen King convinced me to read. An early effort by Crichton. Interesting but simple, undeveloped and crude
The Terminal Man is a book that Stephen King convinced me to read. I read King's short story called "The Woman In The Room. The story is in King's collection Night Shift and briefly mentions how, according to Crichton, putting wires in people's heads can be a very bad scene. Interesting but simple, undeveloped and crude. The book displays in embryonic form the genre for which Crichton would come to be known - the plausible techno thriller, still in the future, but distinctly possible, with ethical implications for all of humanity. One person found this helpful.

L'homme Terminal book. The important point to note was that these two books are as different as chalk and cheese. Having read through almost all of Crichton’s oeuvre, I think this is one of his weakest books.
This was the only Michael Crichton book I'd not read As with many of Michael Crichton's science fiction novels, this take you places that no. .Terminal man is one of Crichton's early novels.
