Jake Logan is the author of the long-running Slocum western series, featuring the adventures of gunslinger John Slocum. This episode just isn't in keeping with what we get in this series. It is long in details and short in characters, character development, and no exciting descriptions of Old West actions or anything else. It hits me as Sci-Fi,though I don't read that genre. More to the point,I got tired of the storyline and the idea of. a man flying around with steel and cloth wings along with feathers;swooping down and killing people like some teradactyl;just doesn't belong in an Old West Western. Let's hope this episode is an aberration for this entertaining series.
