Each one had some element that had me snickering at the innocent little point of view or flat out laughing at the perceived point of view of his parents, Aunt Ruth, Old Man Barkley, and other adult characters in the town of Green Valley. The book provided a sense of peace and calm and, as the title suggests, happiness.
