I’ve been in the business of finding jobs for just about . .What This Book Will Do for You This book is an experiential journey that will take you through the steps that got Jeff Mills and many people like him the jobs they wanted. Most of the employment books on the market are riddled with vacuous advice, long-winded sections on how to build the perfect re´sume´ and other equally useless pages of information. Those books talk about so-called dream jobs and unrealistic goals.

When Dr. Phil's viewers need help turning their job search woes into employment success, he calls in Tony Beshara. One of the most successful placement professionals in the United States, Beshara knows what works and what doesn't. In The Job Search Solution, he outlines the simple yet powerful system that has helped over 100,000 people land jobs they love. Now, in a completely updated second edition, Beshara addresses the major challenges that confront candidates seeking employment today, including advice for readers who have been out of work for a while, were fired from their last job, are looking to change careers, or may be facing discrimination due to age. Featuring interactive exercises, real-life examples, practical Do's and Don'ts, and other essential tools, the new edition reveals how candidates can create a personal "brand" online, communicate with potential employers via e-mail, and leverage personal stories throughout the interview process. Both practical and empowering, The Job Search Solution gives readers the tools they need to get hired in one of the toughest job markets ever.
I've hesitated to purchase a "job search" book, figuring I probably don't really need a lot of advice or assistance (until looking to secure new full-time employment while I was employed full-time). I was wrong.... Definitely could use some help here!

This book offers pragmatic advice, inspirational quotes (no, not sappy quotes in my opinion, just appropriate, motivating quotes) and solid steps to take to make this thing happen.

The Author may do some chest-thumping. Not a problem, he's experienced and he's GOOD. This book helped me more than anything else. I now have secured a terrific new position, doing something I've been looking into for a couple of years. THANK YOU Mr. Beshara! This book was the impetus for me. To drill down and take action and GET IT DONE.

Highly recommend. Highly.
The Job Search Solution: The Ultimate System for Finding a Great Job Now!Truth is truth, you dasn't argue with Tony. He says it like it. He sells, tells, and BELIEVES, big time in what he has experienced since 1973. If for no other reason read this title (and I suspect it is true of his other titles too) and you will find Tony's sweet spot. Decide to be a slave to his advice and win a great new job. With my 20 plus years in career training Tony makes me look like a neophyte, specifically because of his recruiting expertise and his interviewing advice. I like to think of Tony as the "Cable Guy" of job search advice. Did I mention he has been at this since 1973? Your main challenge will be the length, nearly 300 pages. Whew!
I’ve never written a review, but I had to about this book. His advice changed my views on the job search, increased my confidence, and changed my career path. Buy this book, do what he says (especially the interview sections), and your search will end with you getting the offer you’ve always known you deserve but thought you would never get.
I've been unemployed now for about 8 months. The book is helpful if you can muster the personality to pursue a job hunt as boldly and eagerly as the author suggests. Unfortunately, I have not been able to stretch my level of confidence far enough, and each unanswered application lowers my energy for the task. There are some good ideas in here and the overall tone is positive but challenging. It'll help keep you in the game.
My friend is raving about this book. Quick read and can quickly reference a chapter you need to read.
Tony provides many useful insights into the differences between generations and teaches you how to connect with each of them. This book gives a great overview of many aspects of job searching and helps to equip you with some great tools and truths that make it easier.
I bought this for my daughter, who like many others is challenged by the tough job market now. She said it has some good pointers, but, she'd rather that I would have sent her a novel. It's a straightforward read with a methodical approach.
Given as a gift. Don't have any more information
