A Russian composer, Scriabin (also Skriabin and Skryabin) was one of the founding fathers of modernism in music. Scriabin’s works hint at what new worlds he may have conquered. Although we can only ponder what might have been in his all too brief life, we may rejoice in the glorious music that poured from his fervent mind before his untimely death at the age of 43.
