The nameless evil that haunts a legendary punk rock outfit...a Gothic Horror novel about severe mental distress and punk rock. Semi-autobiographical novel from the Rudimentary Peni leading light plunging into the worlds of madness, suicide and anarchist punk. And it's a good read.
Great realistic-fiction of the more English (sensibility wise) persuasion. Blinko channels many of the great Horror writer's style to some success, but if you are a fan read some H.P. Lovecraft and you'll soon be able to glean the slant of the author's pedigree-or lack thereof. Nevertheless, a pleasurable foray for a stormy grey day and a proper spot of tea. This is a thoroughly enjoying read...check it out for yerself.
a wonderful and fantastically written semi/cleverly autobiographical account written in a fantastic land during a fantastic time. dont miss out....this is for all of the wonderfully morbid and laser sharp minds out there straight from the whorses archaic needent even neeed to know the history or relevancce of all that is peni. grab it
Item arrived fast. Great condition. Book was also a good quick read. For fans of Nick Blinko, I'd highly recommend.
amazing book. amazing writer. really dark, so beware.
Blinko's "Primal Screamer is a whirlwind journey through the mind of a truly tortured man. Autobiographical, in most regards, you can learn, not only about a man who later thought he was the Pope (see Rudimentary Peni's "Pope Adrian 37th Psychristiatrich"), but also a small sample of the true anarchistic punk scene. Truly amazing artwork accompanies a completely original book.
Great creepy book. I won't tell you about it. Read it!

This book offers a fascinating view into the world of mental illness. The author himself suffers from a very serious illness called schizo affective disorder which causes depression , anxiety and delusionary thinking. Blinko is also vocalist for the punk/deathrock band rudimentary peni. The book is dark but also has parts that can be seen as inspiring. If Blinko who has been through hell can put out a book and do art and be the lead singer in a band then perhaps we all need to reevaluate our own potential. I found it fascinating as well as inspiring. I recommend this book for anyone who has an interest in the subject.
This print edition has several added pieces of Blinko's artwork not in other editions....each edition the size of the book varies, but words are the original....can always appreciate more artwork.....bravo.....the book has made a come back for new and older generation s
