Julie Doiron started her music career in Moncton, in 1990, as a member of the band Eric's Trip. That band broke up in 1996 and Julie began her solo music career. Julie Doiron started her music career in Moncton, in 1990, as a member of the band Eric's Trip. Apart from her musical career, Doiron is an avid photographer, having published a book of her photographs entitled The Longest Winter with words by Ottawa writer Ian Roy. She often does her own promotional photos and cover artwork along with her ex-husband, painter Jon Claytor with whom she has 2 children. Doiron and her partner and guitarist Christopher Leigh McLaughlin currently live in Sackville.

Julie Doiron started playing music in 1990 with Canadian Indierock band Eric’s Trip.
