In any case this book would qualify for a college course on cultural affairs, sociology, urban history etc. My sister tells me everyone she knew was upset by the title of the book when it was first released. Hundreds of buildings are set ablaze each devils night. many abandoned buildings, but also many that families live in and need for their very existence or buildings that house businesses that city residents rely on for their income. This is an amazing book.
