My favorite book of all times. I am not exaggerating. This book has raised me out of very difficult times in my life. (thank you Chungliang Al Huang) I bought the paper book, and the kindle book a few years later, just because I didn't like to go on long trips/deployments without it.

Good self help book for those that are interested in improving themselves but who are also capable of reading self help books. This book contains a lot of examples, stories and exercises to keep you motivated in addition to very important morals and ideals used in the Tao. For those that have never read a self help book, they are at times very cheesy; This extra information does not negate the book's ability to be useful, it is just sometimes less focused, more distracting and a bit unnecessary.

Now preparing to read The Tao Te Ching . . .

This book provides a philosophy that focuses on you, your attitudes and how you can help yourself (and others) through a positive thought process. Have you had doubts about your ability to complete a task or a competition? This book may be as useful for you as it has been for me. I recommend this book and have given it as a gift on several occasions.

Written with the theories and practices of Al Huang's teachings ("Embrace Tiger, Return to Mountain, the essence of Tai Ji") , "Thinking Body, Dancing Mind" is a good "how to book" It is definitely more "western" and linear in its content compared to Al Huang's book. "Thinking Body" is a manual compared to the poetic nature of "Embrace Tiger."As a teacher of dance, I'm always looking for ways to inspire my students, "Thinking Body" offers many good ideas to help student achieve a sense of confidence, inner awareness.
I bought this for my son for Christmas and he was very excited. It was in excellent condition. Can't believe it only cost me $0.01.
