As a channel and a medium, i am thirsty for truth about the Universe and our path for our lives. this book gives a lesson a day, plus a story that fits into that lesson, then questions to ask yourself to see how the material affects your life. Another fantastic aspect is that this material applies to where you are in your life, what will work for you today. I have gone thru this workbook at LEAST 12 times, each time seeing a new area in my life that I either am not in integrity or need to move into the higher vibration.

Going over this book has been one of the greatest gifts in my life the last 5 years. It has allowed me to see where I need to grow. But also, more importantly, it is a brick in that wall of me knowing that the Universe, really does "have my back", and that the Angels "love us beyond measure".
This is a thought provoking book, that may not be for everyone, but for many, it is manna from heaven.

Honestly, I was so looking forward to following the process from this book, but after a few days my enthusiasm waned. I still went through the entire 31-day process, day by day, but didn't really discover much about myself. I found the majority of the questions to be unhelpful or annoying. Maybe one or two sparked some new insights, but the rest of them didn't. And apart from the questions at the end of the chapters, there isn't much to this book. Each chapter basically gives you a quote, an affirmation and a cheesy story, and then 5 questions.

I came across some pdf files from the Pathwork course and they really resonated with me. I think the fact that they told you the truth and allowed you to draw your own conclusions if it resonated with you appealed to me instead of these self-help books that tell you what to do and use vague terms like "forgiveness" that have so many meanings and layers depending on how they are used and interpreted.

While looking at some of the Pathwork books on Amazon I came across this one and for some reason was drawn to it. "Hmmm..." I said to myself, "The reviews are all excellent and my finances are a wreck. I've already tried all kinds of other books for the deeper stuff and they haven't made any real changes. I'll get this one and if it really helps me change my life in a physical, measurable way then I'll know it's working!" Motivated by soft-core greed, what can I say. ^__^

I'm only on Day 7 and I have learned so much about myself and my own unconscious beliefs that it is shocking. For some reasons these questions result in responses that are hugely insightful and hidden just below the surface. When I answer the questions for the day I slip into a state of flow to the point where it is almost like my unconscious is in a trance state talking to the conscious side of me. I may have gotten into this book because I was interested in changing my life on the outside, but I am amazed how how much I am changing on the inside. It's hard to call it changing. It is like I already knew it but didn't have permission to say it, and by putting the responses on paper and looking at them it is easy to see why my outside life is the way it is, what to do in order to change, and how the internal thoughts and perspectives created the outside things.

If you are an intelligent person who has struggled with books in the past that are overly simplistic and just tell you what to do and think already, this is the book for you. I am a smart girl who knows what I need to do to get my life back on track, but I have very deep emotional scars that run the show and sabotage me every time. I can feel myself becoming empowered and confident that no matter what I will be okay, that even set-backs are just stops on the way, that I am finally going to look my shame dead in the eyes and win this time. I wrote my mom a letter tonight based on some of the responses to the questions I have answered and it was one of the most honest, vulnerable, non-condemning, compassionate, but blunt things I have ever written...all 2000 words of it. I felt so good after I finished that letter that I didn't even feel the need to give it to her. Maybe someday. [she has schizophrenia and has severe narcissistic traits, was abusive] All that matters it that I know I can say the truth out loud now, to myself and to others and not be ashamed about it.

Also starting to ask and receive on the material plane already: scored a very nice purse I've wanted for a belated Christmas gift, a woman I am meeting with a similar vision of me for an alternative health business, and an opportunity to get a health consultation and bloodwork at a place that does tests my normal doctors do not. These are all things I have wanted very badly and they just arrived, out of nowhere. But now I see...it is not about any of this stuff in the first place. And that's the paradox.

Thank you Charles for writing this. It may seem simple or short to a person just flipping through it in a bookstore but the magic of this book is that the depth comes when you interact with it.

When I first read the title - Opening to Abundance a 31 day process to Self- Discovery I got curious because in no way Self discovery can be that fast. For my amusement and surprise, the book deliciously takes you to a deeper reflexion on your resistances, beliefs and images that might have been in the way to fully enjoy the abundance of life. It is, as someone said before, good for beginners in the Pathwork as well as for practitioners. For these, it reminds the Guide's words and the paths to self discovery and for those it invites for reflection and search in profound waters.

I am older and have read many books on "abundance" in my life, starting many years ago with the "Richest Man in Babylon" and "Think and Grow Rich." I have already achieved a level of financial success, but "Opening to Abundance" is about much more than merely acquiring riches. It is about manifesting, rather than trying to force abundance, in health and relationships, as well as wealth. What good is wealth without health, peace of mind and love in your life? What billionaire would not give all he has for these things, if he even realized what he was missing? Howard Hughes purportedly died and often lived like a pauper.

Mr. Woods' book is not meant to be just read, but practiced, and he makes it easy with the unique layout of the book. There is a deep and abiding wisdom in its pages that can be imbibed and made a part of you. You will emerge gently into a feeling of deserving the abundance that you manifest rather than a tight holding of what you acquire with that ever-present fear that something could go wrong and deprive you of what you have. If you acquire abundance using the inner methods taught in this book, you will never again fear for lack in this life, or in any future lifetime you may create.
