This is the first of many books I will read by Elizabeth Adler. I enjoyed the who done it, and the what will happen next, in this book. Who would have believed that the characters described in this book would become such good friends. Each character in the story had very unique personalities. I feel like I had been to the cities and countrysides that are so well described in the book, and I am ready to go back. It was very enjoyable reading and I look forward to reading more of her books.

This story is long and boring. However, as usual, Elizabeth Adler has such a talent for describing surroundings of amazing locations perfectly. She should be a travel writer, she is so good at putting you into a scene.

St. Tropez was recommended by a friend and I had no idea of the treat I was in for. The story had plenty of surprises and general twists and turns to hold my interest to the end. It did, in fact, leave me wanting more of Adler's books. I won't spend time on a summary of the plot. Read it yourself and enjoy.

my 1st time w/Ms Adler. She crowded this book w/so many character "types" it was difficult at first to keep them all straight, or to care many of them. but I finally settled into the story and enjoyed it. It's pretty lightweight reading, but sometimes that's just what you want.

As usual with Adler's books you can really picture yourself in the places she describes so vividly. I love the areas she writes about, the Italian and French riviera and all the villages that I would like to visit so, in a way, she saves me the trips...

Adler writes a good book. easy read. wonderful all around "beach book" or go to book when you are between novels. I enjoy her characters.
I like her historical romance novels best. This is very goo9d for light reading when you do not have to concentrate. You can figure out the plot when you start reading.
