Lost in Your Arms book. A Groom Who Can't Remember. Another interesting and awesome book by Christina Dodd! As usual, she didn't fail in keeping me so totally engrossed until I forgot to have my dinner. Enid is really such an endearing and compelling character. I admire how she is still able to stay strong through her short miserable marriage with Stephen Maclean. And how she still held her head high after the nine years separation with her late husband.

Lost in Your Arms (Govern. has been added to your Cart. With an interesting plot that combines the mysteries of amnesia and Russian spies, plus a lot of heat between the strong hero and heroine, Lost in Your Arms is historical romance at its best.

Book of Christina Dodd’s most popular historical series, The Governess Brides, in eBook and paperback! Excerpt. It’s an amnesia story and a nurse story in one, filled with tragic deception, non-stop adventure and unstoppable passion. I’m very proud of LOST IN YOUR ARMS. An eager query brought Enid’s wandering thoughts back to Lady Halifax’s parlor.

Dodd is the youngest of three daughters (her sisters are 8 and 10 years older than she is) whose father died before. Dodd is the youngest of three daughters (her sisters are 8 and 10 years older than she is) whose father died before she was born. Although her mother had been a housewife with few job skills, after Dodd's birth she found a job and worked diligently to support her children.

Lost in Your Arms is one of the best Christine Dodd books I've read. I had enjoyed Christina Dodd's In My Wildest Dreams immensely and was so pleasantly surprised that Lost In Your Arms was just as enjoyable. Christina Dodd does so extremely well in making us feel for her characters.

I rather found the title sort of out of place, but none the less, it made sense. The book was very well written and the characters are very likeable. If you actually havent read the summary in the dust jacket of the hardcover version of the book you will fall from your chair, when you find out the major secret that Dodd, gives her readers almost at the middle. In my personal opinion, i was dissapointed to have read the summary inside the dustjacket, but alas, i have learned my lesson.
Enid is a very nice, and strong woman. she has gone through a lot and had the misfurtune to stumble upon Steven Maclean, her husband, when she is very young (17). She has an infatuation with him, but she soon learns that he is nothing but a selfish party boy, who also happens to be very jelous of his cousin Kiernan Maclean who is the head of the Maclean clan in Scotland, and despises Enid thinking of her as a gold digger, but Steven leaves her and she then becomes a nurse and moves to the house of a very interesting old lady, which she actually appreciates, that is until she receives news, 10 years later, that her husband has been found, but is gravely injured and to top it all off, he has amnesia. The story is more complex, but thats the core of it. I tremendoulsly enjoyed it, and could barely put it down. Definitely recomend it. Very good twist as long as u dont read the summary inside the dustjacket, thus U HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! hehe

This is one of the best romance/thriller books I've read in ages. A real page-turner. I kept reading and reding to see if and when her secret was revealed... then, what would his reaction be? After that excitement was over, I, then, couldn't put it down because I still didn't know who the killer was? The plot was so perfect and at the end the author tied it all up with a big red bow. This book was everything a romance book should be: romantic, adventurous, with mystery and a touch of both happiness and sadness but not in that order. I finished this book in record time but was then disappointed because it was over.

This is the first time I ever was tempted to peek at the end of the book to see the solution... but I didn't. I was enjoying the suspense too much.

I have read all the other books in this series, but didn't read this one because I didn't like the storyline. Now I wish I had read it sooner. I have now read this book several times and really enjoy it. If you read some of the other reviews that tell you more about the story you can get a very good idea about how the book will go, and what surprises are in store for you. I was not surprised by the villian of the story when the villian was revealed but that was due to the fact that I had read all the other books in the series first. This book is definitely a keeper!

A very romantic story with a dangerous, mysterious sub-plot. I enjoyed the heroine's realistic responses to the situations. Good satisfying ending. Interesting characters, not one-dimensional cardboard cut-out's. Kept me interested along the way by the mystery of who was the villain who tried to kill the hero.

I give 5 stars only to perfect books like GONE WITH THE WIND, LONESOME DOVE, THORNBIRDS, or AZTEC by GARY JENNINGS. So 4-stars is very high from me. This was a really good romance and I've been reading a lot lately including Joanna Lindsey, Judith McNaught, Julie Garwood, Ciji Ware, Mary Jo Putney, and Teresa Medeiros. Kathleen Woodwiss is the only author whose books I've enjoyed more in the last year. I also heartily recommend THE WOLF AND THE DOVE, and THE FLAME AND THE FLOWER.

I was reluctant to read this book after the dude that was Rules of Surrender. Boy, was I lucky gave this book a chance. The emotional realism was spot on. I liked how Enid was able to find happiness after so many years of hardship. And as far as heroes go, MacLean is top notch. Great couple. The reader could really feel the love between these two.
