I was given this book as a gift along with a telescope, and while it seemed like a great guide at first, after a few days of reading through it I found too many errors that ended up making it unusable for frequent use. It has sky charts, but in at least one instance the labeling for the hours of right ascension are completely wrong and then later when it provides a list of interesting objects you can find with a telescope, the page references it gives to these charts are completely wrong. This was just a poorly edited book. I even wrote to the publisher asking if they were aware of these errors and received no response. All in all, I would recommend you definitely NOT buy this book. There are many other, better guides you can find that will serve you much better.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in stargazing and outer-space in general. Although there were typos, it was highly informative and that alone made it a great buy for me!
