John O'Donohue (1 January 1956 – 4 January 2008) was an Irish poet, author, priest, and Hegelian philosopher. He was a native Irish speaker, and as an author is best known for popularising Celtic spirituality. Eldest of four siblings, he was raised in west Ireland in the area of Connemara and County Clare, where his father Patrick O'Donohue was a stonemason, while his mother Josie O'Donohue was a housewife.

A Jesuit education is not the only way, but it was the best way for me. Below are reasons why I chose a Jesuit university. The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything: A Spirituality for Real Life. St. Ignatius of Loyola founded the Society of Jesus in 1534. The Jesuits are best known for the missionary work and are currently enagaged in this type of work in 112 nations. They are also famous for their work in education and other intellectual activities. From the beginning of their existence, the Jesuits put a strong focus on education.

John Dewey, Mortimer Adler and Nel Noddings impacted our system of education in very profound ways. Dewey believed that there should be communication between the student and the teacher. Noddings believed that teachers should be more caring towards their students. John Dewey’s idea of education greatly affected our system of education today. John Dewey’s ideas for education were to concentrate on students’ psychological and sociological qualities.

A Jesuit Education Reader helps me understand the meaning of a Jesuit education, and the position of Jesuit schools in America. I also understood that the deep philosophical values of Jesuit Education were the same across continents. Studying and Teaching at a Jesuit Institution, I recommended this book to a few of my colleagues. One person found this helpful.

John W. Donohue, AIA (1869–1941) was an American architect who was active in Western Massachusetts during the first half of the 20th century. Donohue was born in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1869. His father was associated with the engineering department of a local railroad and designed an office building for that railroad in Springfield. The young Donohue was educated in the local schools including Central High School.
