Laurie and her Under Suspicion host Alex Buckley soon find themselves overwhelmed with theories and rumors about the "beloved" bride from those who were involved with the wedding, including Amanda's former fiancé, a jealous sister, and plenty of playboy groomsmen. A dandy whodunit with numerous plausible suspects, skillful misdirection, an exotic setting and smooth prose, it combines Clark's skill at plotting romantic suspense with Burke's edgier take on the genre.

All Dressed in White is the 3rd book of the Under Suspicion series (I've Got You Under My Skin & The Cinderella Murder) by Mary Higgins Clark.  Its about Reality tv producer Lauri Moran who works on solving cold cases.

In this book, Lauri is on the case of Amanda Pierce, a bride to be, who disappeared on her wedding day, 5 years ago, without a trace.

This is a fast moving book.  We get a good look at all the characters in this case, and how several had some kind of motive.  All the main characters, from the previous books, are back.  Just like in the previous books, we are taken on every step of this cold case and follow along the clues to solve it.

Book is written in similar style as the other books, fast moving, small chapters.  We also continue to get to know further the main characters.  There are many twists and turns in this book, which makes hard to put down this book.

I definitely recommend this book mystery/thriller books.  Those who've enjoyed the Under Suspicion series won't be disappointed.  I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

Twenty-seven-year old Amanda Pierce simply disappears from a Florida resort where she was to be married the next day to Jeffrey Hunter five years ago. The mother Sandra travels from Seattle to NYC unannounced to implore Laurie Moran to put the case on her popular TV show Under Suspicion, which tries to solve cold cases. She’s certain that Jeff has done harm to Amanda to inherent 2 M$.

When the years’ old wedding party and friends gather in Florida at the scene of the disappearance to begin filming, it becomes obvious there are contentions and secrets among them. The question is whether any of it is a motive to do harm.

This is the second in this series; it reads a great deal like the first: quick and easy. The main characters are unchanged: perky Laurie, hunky lawyer Alex, retired father Leo, and her son Timmy. The new characters are mere sketches. Little twists are revealed along the way to tease the reader, but amount to nothing. The ending is hardly inspired.

Laurie Moran is about to present her ideas for the next case in her Under Suspicion television series when she finds that her assistant Grace has allowed Sandra Pierce to wait for her in her office. After she hears Sandra's story about the disappearance of her daughter Amanda the day before her wedding, she decides that she wants that story to be the next one in the series. After five years, Sandra has not given up hope that Amanda will be found, but, as her husband felt the need to go on with their lives, she divorced him and moved from their Raleigh home to live near her son and granddaughters in Seattle. After contacting the groom-to-be, who has married her best friend about a year later, her siblings, and the other members of the wedding party, they take the show to Palm Beach and the hotel where the wedding was to have been held, accompanied by Laurie's son Timmy and her father, retired detective Leo. They contact the photographer and the man who had been his intern at the time, who had followed members of the party around to take some candid photos which brought some very interesting things to light. . .

As the show progresses with interviews of all the involved parties, some secrets are discovered. Amanda, who had suffered from Hodgkins lymphoma and recovered, had changed when she got well and had had some second thoughts about getting married. And, of course, there is grave danger for someone. However, Amanda's fate is discovered and, for many people, there is a happy ending. For one or two, however, it is more bittersweet. There was one person I wanted to take by the shoulders and shake some sense into!

The book itself is well written with 74 short chapters and an epilogue. It was a very fast read. I couldn't put it down and finished it the day I received it. I'm looking forward to the next Under Suspicion novel. You will enjoy it, I'm sure.

ALL DRESSED IN WHITE: A novel by Mary Higgins Clark. The Cinderella Murder was the first of the Under Suspicion series; this story is even better. Under Suspicion is a reality TV program based on cold case, unsolved murders/disappearances. Amanda Pierce vanishes on the eve of her wedding. Two theories emerge: either Amanda met with foul play or she got cold feet and took off. After five years, Amanda’s mother approaches Laurie Moran, producer of the popular TV series, to use her daughter’s disappearance as the subject of her next episode. The mother is convinced that Jeff Hunter, Amanda’s fiancé, murdered her for financial gain. The wedding party participants and family all gather at the Grand Victoria Hotel in Palm Beach to reenact events leading to the bride’s disappearance. The story builds slowly with the many characters eyeing one another as the murdering culprit. Following many twists and unexpected turns, the story’s plot moves into an exciting and surprising climactic ending. Mary Higgins Clark has not lost any of her writing talent, she has only improved with age. I have enjoyed the under suspicion series and hope there is a third installment. I give All Dressed In White a 5-star rating; a very entertaining novel.

I love this series it's very interesting, loaded with suspicion as I try to guess who the perpetrator is and once again I never figured " Whodunnit". I've already purchased the third book in the series and I highly recommend this fabulous spellbinding book.

My wife enjoyed listening to the compact disks very much. One of the disks had a bad section but it was only a very small amount. I think it was because of the packaging inside the box. My wife likes Mary Higgins Clark writings very much and has read many books before she became blind from age related mackular degeneration. All Dressed in White was excellent compact disc story by Mrs. Clark.

Guessing the culprit is impossible.
As expected from these authors, the story was well developed as were the characters, even those who seemed to be minor.
