From a nuts and bolts books about bicycle touring this isn't bad. I mean it's not a how to book, it's a memoir but you . I read Going Somewhere in smaller snippets so I could savor the journey with Brian and Rachel across the western United States. I mean it's not a how to book, it's a memoir but you can learn alot from this book, like; don't forget water, the coolness of alcohol stoves, the importance of regular bicycle maintenance, the kindness of strangers, and the value of good maps and directions. As a story dealing with finding ones self, romance and relationships it's not bad either. Brian’s prose is beautiful, funny, and painfully honest.
