Bill Wallace was an American teacher and later an author of children's books. He started writing to quiet down his fourth grade students, who loved his stories and encouraged him to make real books.

It's not easy being a kitten. Bill Wallace was an American teacher and later an author of children's books. Bill Wallace grew up in Oklahoma. Along with riding their horses, he and his friends enjoyed campouts and fishing trips. Toasting marshmallows, telling ghost stories to scare one another, and catching Bill Wallace was an American teacher and later an author of children's books.

Bill Wallace's book, Snot Stew, is a very funny, and energizing children's book. It's about two kittens named, Toby and Kikki, who are adopted by a boy and a girl. This book is the best childrens book I have ever read. It is easy to read and extremely funny. The book is written from the kittens' point of view which makes the book even more interesting. The adventures the two kittens go on will have you rolling on the floor.

I love being scratched behind the ears, chasing Butch the dog, and eating Mother's stew. My brother Toby and I learned about "people things" when we were adopted by Sarah and Ben. The only problem with kid-people is the games they like to play, like "Dress the Cat" - and "Snot Stew". It's not stew! But what is it? It's making a bully out of Toby and a wreck out of me! The game of Snot Stew that Kikki the kitten's young owners play is setting a bad example for Kikki's brother, Toby. He's turning into a bully, and that spells danger when he starts taunting Butch, the nasty dog on the other side of the fence. Can Kikki keep Toby from getting into big trouble? And will she have the courage to rescue him if he does?

Love this book. As a teacher, I have read it to 2nd graders through 8th graders, and they all loved it. It has a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter that makes the kids yell," Don't stop!!" It is a great book to teach "point of view", as the story is told from two frisky abandoned kitten's view of the world.I have bought probably 30 of these books during my teaching career because the kids keep wearing the book out.

This is an absolutely delightful book. I read it as a child multiple times, and it made such an impression that I had to get it for my cat loving 9 year old. He got it for Christmas, and has already read it three times.
It’s a very easy, relaxing read, he could have read it easily by second grade, and when it arrived I read it in a little over half an hour. Yet even with it being easy, it remains entertaining.
My son loved this one so much I bought him the rest by this author. He absolutely loves them also, but I haven’t read them yet.

This is a fun story told from the kittens point of view. I bought it for my oldest niece and now have bought it for the younger ones. :-)

This sat on my shelf for years because the title turned me off. However, after reading it I've read this book to my class every year. It is one of the students favorite books as we vote on the books I read to them at the end of the year. Very funny.
