British Columbia Bizarre - Rosemary Neering. They and the many other pieces in this book are my own personal choice for a portrait of British Columbia Bizarre. Highwaymen and Walking Whales, Anarchists and Opium. In an era when non-fiction books are increasingly deep and narrow, this book is unabashedly shallow and wide. In it, you will find a plethora of amusing, unusual and sometimes shocking tidbits from the history of British Columbia. I hope they entertain you, make you laugh-and maybe even occasionally, provide some food for thought.
