I'd buy it if I was searching for improving on what I eat to make myself healthier. The recipes I could do without though. For some strange reason I usually like to try recipes from known chefs.

This book was full of all sorts of useful information. It covered a variety of topics in an easy to understand format that left me feeling as though I had gained lots of new knowledge without being preached at. It balanced perfectly the need to eat healthfully most of the time with reasonable exceptions and told you how to cheat on your diet wisely and without guilt.

I have read previous books on nutrition, but none are as interesting as this. It is very easy to understand, and very intersting. The author uses a lot of examples and metaphors too. Just a simple, interesting read if you're interested in learning about nutrition.

bought for a friend never heard she's big in to nutrition so I'm sure she liked it. It seemed fairly easy to read when I browsed through it.
Let me tell you I got this book because I have started a new lifestyle, getting fit and eating healthy. I needed to make sure I was covering all ends. This book is such a great guide to perfect health, my mom is a type 2 dieabetic and I learned such much about foods she can eat, and how they can help her. Such a good book for self education.
