Irene N. Watts (born 1931, in Berlin, Germany) is a Canadian novelist, playwright, and director. She is a contributor to Hoping for Home. Watts was born in Berlin, Germany and lived there for seven years. She moved to the United Kingdom through the Kindertransport shortly before the outbreak of World War II and was educated in England and Wales. At Cardiff University, she earned degrees in history and English literature. She married and had four children and taught elementary school. Watts’s most popular book is No Moon.
